Installations and sculptures made of layers of Japanese paper and silk in multiple overlays and vibrant colors.
The illuminated sculptures emit a light that is almost “material”. The light here is manifestation and poetic matter. It evokes other dimensions, it has layers, depth and mystery. They are made of kozo fiber paper, which is the best light diffusing paper available and allows the creation of large illuminated pieces without revealing the light source.
The techniques used in the elaboration of the pieces were developed over years of experience and research in the work of the studio.
